Salt
Salt is a food seasoning to emphasize its flavor.
According to science;
Salt is a crystalline mineral that is composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of ionic salts. It is essential for life.
In this world, what would be the flavor of life if seasoning never existed? Imagine all people are like Atheist believing there is no God. I think the saying of Saint Paul is true that if there is no life beyond earth then; "let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die". It simply shows how every one of us lives without the hope of eternal life.
"1 Cor 15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die."
But Jesus said, we who believed the Son of God are the SALT of the world for a better taste.
"Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."
Therefore, let us stand with season that we may not lose the savor.
"Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."
